Debra Brace learned to sew from her mother & grandmother when she was a kid and always loved it. She made quite a few things throughout high school, including her prom dress. She joined the Air Force directly out of high school and I stopped sewing for a while. She didn't want to lug a sewing machine around each time she moved.

She did pick up sewing again about several years later and Bags by Deb was born. All her products are individually designed and handcrafted in Bend, Oregon, where she calls home. She now sells her my products throughout the year at several craft shows in the area, but you can always find her every Saturday during the summer at the Downtown Bend Artisan’s Market.

Deb’s products include but are not limited to… backpacks, fabric purses, crossbody bags, messenger bags, handbags, pocketbooks, pouches, coin purses, first aid kits, sewing kits and cloth masks.

She is always happy to work with her customers on custom orders.

Custom Work

If you see something you like and would like it with different wood, acrylic, TruStone or other, we would be more than happy to talk with you regarding a custom order. We will remake any item you see on our website all though there will be a variance in the item you receive since not all materials are the same.  For example not all wood is the same as once it is turned down to the size needed it could look different than the outer blank. Regardless of the difference of these material they all looks spectacular when finished.
